Major in MIS:

  • Learn to analyze, develop, and manage information technology solutions.

  • Career choices include systems analyst, business analyst, application programmer, web developer, consultant, database developer, network administrator and tech support.

Minor in MIS:

  • Find information technology solutions to business problems in all functional areas as well as liaison with application developers and technology vendors.
  • Apply for jobs that require identifying, and using information output from software products, providing information input for their design, as well as working with business area specific software.
