Every year, the Department of Management Information Systems, the Institute for Business and Information Technology, and the Association of Management Information Systems hold their Information Technology Awards Reception honoring outstanding performance and achievements of both faculty and students as well as industry leaders and innovators in the field of Information Technology.

This year, the Fox School recognized Doreen A. Wright, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Campbell Soup Company with the Fox 2007 Information Technology Leadership Award. This award is presented in light of her leadership in the use and development of IT in business.

Frank R. Sanchez, President, Enterprise Solutions Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. was recognized as the recipient of the Fox 2007 Information Technology Innovator Award. This award is presented to those who have applied IT to create new business opportunities.

Daniel T. Garrett, Managing Director, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, was awarded with the Fox 2007 Information Technology Award for Distinguished Alumni.  The Fox IT Award for Distinguished Alumni is given to a person to recognize a distinguished career in information technology and their contribution to the community, industry, or Temple University.
