Every year, the Department of Management Information Systems, the Institute for Business and Information Technology, the Association for Computing Machinery at Temple University and the TechWORKS foundation hold their Information Technology Awards Reception honoring outstanding performance and achievements of both faculty and students as well as industry leaders and innovators in the field of Information Technology.

This year, the Fox School will recognize Susan J. Unger, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, DaimlerChrysler AG with the Fox 2006 Information Technology Leadership Award. This award is presented in light of her leadership in the use and development of IT in business.

Jeffrey Citron, Co-founder, Chairman, & Chief Strategist, Vonage Holdings Corporation will be recognized as the recipient of the Fox 2006 Information Technology Innovator Award. This award is presented to those who have applied IT to create new business opportunities.

Ben-Saba Hasan, Vice President, Corporate and Product Group Information Technology, Dell Inc., will be awarded with the Fox 2006 Information Technology Award for Distinguished Alumni.  The Fox IT Award for Distinguished Alumni is given to a person to recognize a distinguished career in information technology and their contribution to the community, industry, or Temple University.
